About TiHAN - IIT Hyderabad
The NM-ICPS TiHAN(Technology innovations Hub on Autonomous Navigation (TiHAN Foundation)) Foundation, a Section 8 company at IIT Hyderabad funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, focuses on Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems (like UAVs and ROVs). As part of the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems, TiHAN drives innovation, education, skill development, and startup growth in Cyber-Physical Systems, supporting sectors such as mobility, industry, and smart infrastructure. TiHAN is recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
